Jupiter

AND NOW PRESENTING THE SOLAR SYSTEM'S MOST BIGGEST PLANET: JUPITER!!!!!!!! Did you know that Jupiter can fit about 1300 Earths inside it? Jupiter is the first planet made out of gas in the solar system. Jupiter's atmosphere is made of 90% hydrogen, 10% helium. Jupiter has 67 moons. The four biggest moons are Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa. Scientists think that Europa might have life on it because Europa is completely covered in ice. Underneath that ice there is an ocean, which may have microbes living in it, similar to those in Earth's waters. Jupiter also has a Great Red Spot, which looks like a spot from outer space, but actually, it is a really, REALLY, REALLY, big storm that goes on forever.
Here is a picture of the Great Red Spot:

This spot is so big that about 3 and a half earths can fit in it. Since the planet is so huge, there is a lot of gravitational pull, so if you weigh 50 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 117 pounds on Jupiter. Jupiter is about 483,800,000 miles from the sun. Jupiter is the 5th planet and is the first gas planet in the universe. And finally, Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. So remember, if you complain that you can't carry heavy weights, be lucky to be on Earth than Jupiter, because then, they would be a lot heavier!!!! :-)

Stay tuned for Saturn, the ringed planet, coming out on Friday, June 27, 2014, on www.anishspace.blogspot.com
